Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.
1. Digital Products and Subscriptions
1.1 Newsletter Subscriptions
Our free newsletter subscriptions can be canceled at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any newsletter email or by contacting us directly. As this is a free service, no refunds apply.
1.2 Premium Digital Content
For premium digital content purchases (reports, guides, e-books):
- 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
- To be eligible for a refund, you must provide a brief explanation of why the content did not meet your expectations.
- Refund requests submitted after the 14-day period will not be accepted.
1.3 Premium Memberships
For premium membership subscriptions:
- Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial months, but you will maintain access until the end of your current billing period.
- Annual Subscriptions: If you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase, you are eligible for a full refund. After 14 days, you may receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription at our discretion.
- Membership benefits accessed or downloaded during your subscription period may affect refund eligibility.
2. Webinars and Online Events
2.1 Live Webinars
For paid live webinars:
- Full refunds are available if requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
- No refunds will be issued less than 48 hours before the event.
- If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person by notifying us in advance.
- In case of technical difficulties on our end that significantly impact the delivery of the webinar, we will offer a recording, rescheduled session, or refund at our discretion.
2.2 Recorded Webinars
For purchases of recorded webinars:
- Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not viewed more than 25% of the content.
- Once you have viewed more than 25% of the content, no refund will be issued.
3. Consulting Services
3.1 Cancellation by Client
For consulting services and custom research:
- More than 7 days before scheduled service: Full refund of any deposits or prepayments.
- 3-7 days before scheduled service: 50% refund of deposits or prepayments.
- Less than 3 days before scheduled service: No refund.
- For ongoing services, cancellation notice must be provided at least 14 days in advance to avoid additional billing.
3.2 Cancellation by EcoInvest Canada
If we need to cancel or reschedule a consulting session:
- We will make every effort to provide at least 48 hours' notice.
- You will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
- If the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), we will work to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
4. In-Person Events and Workshops
For tickets to in-person events, seminars, and workshops:
- 30+ days before event: Full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
- 15-29 days before event: 50% refund.
- 14 days or less before event: No refund, but you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying us in advance.
- If an event is canceled by EcoInvest Canada, attendees will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer registration to a future event.
- If an event is postponed, tickets will automatically be valid for the rescheduled date, or a refund may be requested within 14 days of the postponement announcement.

Upon approval of your refund request:
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
- Processing typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances may occur. If you experience an issue not covered by this policy, please contact us, and we will review your case individually. We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy at our discretion in cases of:
- Medical emergencies (documentation may be required)
- Natural disasters affecting your ability to use our services
- Technical issues on our end that significantly impact service delivery
- Other extenuating circumstances deemed valid by our management team
